It reflects the suffering and resistance of the people in their journey: from their extremely hard situation in a country devastated by three wars since 2011 and its detention centres, to their crossing in the central Mediterranean in very flimsy boats, and their rescue by humanitarian ships such as the Astral or the Open Arms.
